Kayla Jobes

Hi BP! My name is Kayla and I’m a spunky, carefree amateur investor with aspirational goals and dreams in real estate. I love to cook, roller blade, dance, swim, and travel! My fiancé and I are set to be married in 2021 and he is my motivator to achieve my goals. I am currently working on becoming debt free and getting back down to zero! My 5 year goal is to have emergency savings, be debt free, and enough liquidity to buy a house and have $10k in maintenance savings. I am hoping to flip houses, be a landlord, and house hack my first house. I currently work in manufacturing and want to move on when I feel I have another safe job (COVID layoffs). I am officially caught up on BP Money Podcast and am working on year 2013 in the BP Real Estate Podcast. I’m making notes, saving money, investing slowly, and paying down debt. I’d love to find a real estate job that pays well enough to not live paycheck to paycheck till I’m F.I. If you are in the Midwest, I’d love to pick your brain and gain some mentors and friends!
