LaMont Washington

Ever since I can remember I've always had the mindset of an entrepreneur. But I didn't fully grasp the concept until recently. My name's LaMont, I was born in Killeen, TX and raised in Houston, TX. When I was in 4th grade I use to buy white t-shirts from Walmart, and would draw anything the other kids requested on the t-shirt and would sell it for about 2 dollars. In middle school all the way to high school, I would buy the variety packs of popular chocolate bars and fruit candies and would sell them for a dollar. I would use the money I made to buy more and keep the profit and watch that build. At the time it was simple math and no one came to me with these ideas, I just wanted to make some money. My passion is music. I attended the art institute of Houston for 3 years but didn't graduate unfortunately. But with those years of experience I've honed my skills as an audio engineer, producer and artist. Now I run my own home studio. As you could see, I've always wanted to be entrepreneur but didn't fully grasp what that truly meant until I read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. It changed my whole way of viewing the business world and how I handled my money. Now I'm on the path to financial freedom and real estate investing is how I want to start it. I hope to connect with awesome people who want to do awesome things and have to drive and ambition to make it happen!
