I have been a physical therapists for almost 18 years. I am currently practicing part-time. Prior to going back to school for physical therapy I was an interior decorator for approximately 10 years. I owned my own business for 6 of those 10 years. For the past 4.5 years my husband and I have been utilizing our self-directed IRA to purchase rental properties (5) creating a passive income stream. I have become interested in flipping, wholesaling, and becoming a private investor. I can see the potential income possibilities. Ideally, I would love to flip because we bought and completely renovated a condo that we were able to sell for a nice profit after enjoying it ourselves for about 3 years. It was a good experience, and I loved seeing the transformation! I recently went to a Fortune Builders 1-day seminar, and it opened by eyes to the other possibilities mentioned above. I signed up for the 3-day seminar which is in the next couple of weeks. I'm hoping to gain a little more knowledge before I start talking to the contacts that I currently have (real estate broker, private investors, contractors). I really believe I could be successful doing what I enjoy doing, and am looking forward to the challenge!
