I'm am brand new to the world of real estate but very intrigued by all it has to offer and motivated to learn more and as much as I can about all avenues of this investing opportunity. When I say brand new I mean just begining to reading books and forums and find what I feel would be the best path for me to take. I am 34 years old and have been working as a plumbi g mechanic for just under 15 years. It has provided me with a decent career financially but lately I have been telling myself there has to be more to life than this. I have been pondering that for awhile and just recently decided that I've got to be the one to do something about it. I found my "WHY." My family. Not that they didn't mean anything to me before because they do. They are my rock, my foundation, my world. Being able to provide for them financially better now and for the future is what I want. Financial freedom to spend more time with them is what is going to light my fire to do this. I'm hoping to meet some great people and learn from them through this site as to how to start and where to begin. Thanks in advance for any and all advice I receive. Can't wait to start this journey!!!!
