I am just starting and 50 years old. The recession and a job loss killed my retirement savings and rebuilding is going slow. My wife and I see the benefits of doing this now and securing a portfolio that will secure our semi-retirement in 12-15 years. So for all intensive purposes, we are just putting our toe in the water, yet ready to jump in when the education and opportunities present themselves.
