I am a Realtor and investor in rental properties and syndications. My husband and I bought our first investment property in 2016. It is a duplex that I manage. So far the experience has been great (I credit this to this community, the podcasts and the books we have read). I have a background in design/ build so it has been really fun working with subcontractors again to get the rentals ready for tenants (painting, cleaning, no major remodels:)). I initially got my real estate license to just buy investment properties but soon realized it is my calling. Houses and relationships! A place to live and a reason to live!
