Back in the game after about ten years. I've been a general contractor, construction project management, and, or real estate investor for the last thirty years. Before that, I was a cowboy, a sailor, and a lumber jack. The serious, fun and money is in real estate investing. The best advice I can give is, don't get married, and if you get married, don't get divorced, and don't get sideways with the IRS. Right now I am looking for a small industrial park. I'd like to occupy a portion of it and lease out the remainder of the units. I want to find tenants who are competent, small contractors, who need shop/office space. I'm also looking for an accountant and an attorney, who specializes in real estate investing. I am interested in networking with other investors and contractors.
