Hi, I’m Nathaniel - A pragmatic optimist who's passionate about using technology to improve environments and experiences. I enjoyed an active childhood on the coast of Maine full of camping, hiking and canoeing. However, I developed an interest in technology and loved trying to figure out how things worked. That love of technology has carried me far and wide. Whether it be running lighting sessions in London's West End, animating christmas lighting displays in Shanghai, or designing AV systems for Superyachts. I thrive in the intersection of technology and design. My key strengths centre around technical systems, client relations, project management, and problem solving. Key areas of professional and personal interest include real estate, renewable energy, private aviation, and sailing. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and strive to provide tremendous value in every situation. Experience: I'm a self-professed Real Estate Newbie. My wife and I purchased our primary residence (MLS with traditional financing) and I have subsequently performed a modified BRRRR on two duplexes in the local area. I'm currently building cash reserves, have good credit, and work a day job as a commercial property manager. Real Estate Goals: Like so many on BiggerPockets, I'm striving for financial freedom. This goal is driven by my desire to spend more time with my children, teaching them about the world by travelling to exotic lands. To facilitate this freedom to travel and teach, I'll need my real estate portfolio to provide stable passive income. Buy and hold seems to be the appropriate vehicle to achieve this and I'm therefore looking to grow my portfolio to at least 40 units with each unit cashflowing at least $100 per month. Currently Seeking: I'm currently seeking mentors and partners in my local market (Greater Bangor and Central Maine).
