Hey fellow investors. My wife and I are two houses into our investment journey in Tucson, AZ. Started with a house hack and I finally convinced my wife to rent out all the guest rooms. (Now if I can just convince her to give up the master and put up a curtain in the living room…)House Two actually is a triplex. We were going to move in, but the seller had to go and rent out the last unit just right before we could visit the property. Now we have arrived at the classic newbie crisis stage in which we have plateaued on the conventional mortgages with all but the emergency fund reservoirs depleted. Despite this, my wife is starting to suffer withdrawals with the only clear prescription being the acquisition of more properties. Rather than surrendering to ramen, intermittent fasting, and selling plasma to increase the saving-earning velocity to satisfying the craving, we are looking at getting a little more creative with the financing. Now we are looking into finding a hard money lender or securing a personal line of credit. Round three we are hoping to be a bit wiser and follow the blueprint of the wise man of a thousand analogies, David Greene. From such measures we hope to have a much BRRRRighter future.
