Hi I'm Phil. I'm sort of new to real estate investing, but I've been reading about it for some time now. I've helped my dad purchase an SFR through a turnkey provider in St. Louis and it's doing pretty well. I plan on doing more investing, but this time without an turnkey provider. I'm currently reading David Greene's Long Distance Real Estate Investing and the BRRRR book. I'm fascinated by the BRRRR strategy and I am curious to try it myself. I'm interested in: -distressed SFRs without a complex rehab for now (since it would be my first) -must cashflow -must be in a neighborhood that would house a tenant that won't trash the place This seems like this is what everyone would want.
