I stumbled into real estate trying to figure out how to pay for a mortgage on a house that my wife and I had no business looking at, much less buying. “Maybe we could rent out the basement…” Thankfully, we didn't by the house. But I couldn’t get the idea of rental income out of my head. Fast forward a few months and add countless hours of reading and networking and my wife and I closed on our first property, an off-market deal with a ton of value add potential. We’re eager to continue learning and growing our portfolio and excited for the many opportunities that we know real estate can provide for our family and those around us.
