I am originally from NYC, and have been an implant in the Savannah, GA area for the past 15 years upon completion of my enlistment in the military. I have always been interested in real estate, and have been consistently researching and educating myself over the past several years. I dipped my toe in the water and invested in a vacation rental property in Florida two years ago; the property has proved to be profitable and books 44 - 47 weeks out of the year. I am in the process of purchasing my next investment property under my newly formed company, with the end goal of utilizing it as a rental property. Although my husband and I have been studying the industry through different avenues for a long time - we are still novices! We intend to delve into real estate investing full-time, through hard work and commitment; during this process, we hope to encounter someone who understands our goals, and is willing to provide mentorship and guidance. We are also seeking to network and eventually create a team of diverse individuals to partner and/or work with. We are interested in Fix & Flips and Buy & Holds, but are willing to do some wholesaling to start from the ground up. We are truly seeking to invest in Rental Properties for the obvious reason of creating passive income. We of course want to take the necessary steps to financially secure our family, create generational wealth and contribute to the community. Our beginning and short term goals are seeking homes in specific communities within Savannah and its surrounding areas, that require minor and major repairs with a price range of $0 - $200K. One of our main focuses will be to sell and rent rehabilitated homes and multi-unit properties to lower and middle income families, and college students. With so many different opportunities, we aim to secure a strategy of selecting specific criteria that will help minimize risks and maximize profits that will allow a successful expansion within the industry.
