I am a 30yr old Bay Area native just starting on his real estate investment journey. I am yearning to make my first move and am constantly looking at what options there are. Should I remain in California? Start with a new build because of its virtually hassle-free introduction? Live in the house first or just go straight into rental? Manage it myself or hire someone? So many questions! My personal goal is long-term financial security, so while CoC returns are great, equity is my primary focus. I am extremely motivated to start and am open to ideas. I have about $50k to play with, so any recommendations are appreciated.
