I am a young professional working in tech in Washington DC. I am beginning my real estate investment journey by taking real estate classes this fall of 2022 in preparation of investing in likely a multi family building by the new year. As I am renting in DC for now I am looking for my first investment to be in a more affordable market, such as the Midwest in likely a Class C property. I am also interested in purchasing a duplex and house hacking around the DMV area once my lease is up.
