My real estate journey started in 2014 when I bought my first property as a house hack - my husband had done the same back in 2012, and between the two of us, that early lesson in "let the property help pay for itself" stuck. Since then, we've grown our personal portfolio to 5 units, all in Colorado Springs. Over the years we've experimented with a number of different strategies, but at our core we're buy-and-hold investors who believe in the long-term strength of the Colorado market. Real estate has been the throughline of my entire career, not just my personal investments. I spent years working as a multifamily and retail developer, and in urban land use policy and economic development. This backgroung gave me a ground-level view of how communities grow, how projects get financed, and what actually makes a neighborhood work - insight I still draw on every day. In 2019, I made the shift into residential, retail, and multifamily sales as a Realtor, bringing that development and economic background into how I advise clients today.
