Hello! I stumbled into the world of real estate investing 3 years ago while helping manage my boyfriend's short-term rental property in Wisconsin. The combination of witnessing the property cash flow and binging Bigger Pockets episodes had me hooked on the potential of utilizing REI to reach financial independence by 40. My boyfriend Jon and I will be closing on our first joint property, a fixer-upper in Kirkland Washington, this October and look forward to utilizing and contributing to the Bigger Pockets network. Outside of REI, I work full-time for REI Co-op (Recreation Equipment, Inc.) and spend my time rock climbing, skiing, backpacking and hiking. REI squared!
