Scott Krueger

After serving in the U.S. Navy for six years I used my GI Bill to get my degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. After school I moved back home to the Elgin, Il area where I work for Exelon Generation as an Operations Supervisor (in training) at Byron Nuclear Station. I am a person who places a high value on setting and following through on goals. I think that with a detailed goal in mind, along with taking daily actions toward your goal, humans can accomplish literally anything. It may sound cheesy but there is nothing on earth more powerful than a human being who is committed to their goals. I'm also a firm believer in the golden rule. It may seem oversimplified but if we treat each other how we desire to be treated - be they friends, family, or colleagues - the world is a much better place. In my free time I enjoy following Chicago sports, playing the guitar, seeing live music, and spending time with my friends and family. Travel is a passion and I've been to 8 countries; my favorite thus far being Italy. I am happily married and my wife and I just had our first kid in May. I love meeting new people who share my personal and professional interests. I would love to find a mentor who has succeeded in real estate and would like to share some of their knowledge. I'm a quick learner who isn't afraid to use a little elbow grease. I could talk forever but I'd rather just talk over coffee, lunch, or beers.
