I am a Civil Engineer by training (went to GA Tech, Go Jackets!), fascinated with the real state industry. Former U.S. Marine, raised in Medellin, Colombia. I really enjoy playing Volleyball, traveling and cooking (mainly because I love stuffing my face with delicious things). Experience: I started as an "amateur" landlord renting rooms to college roommates. Have since sold my primary residence in Norcross, GA and moved to Syracuse, NY. In Syracuse I have been working on a live-in flip and just acquired my first duplex!!! (Does that make me an official landlord?) Real Estate Goals: To generate passive income from rental units to replace the regular, W-2, 9-5 income. I want to make work optional 5 years from now, need to get to 150 units to achieve this goal. Currently Seeking: Knowledge about the multifamily space. I want to get into a 10-30 unit deal next. Looking at both the Atlanta, GA and Syracuse, NY markets.
