Stacey Johnson

I was an owner of three properties by the age of 26; all income producing with positive cash flows. During this time I was also employed with a fortune 500. I was in sales and marketing for about 8 years until I became more interested in real estate than a boring industrial product. Having had success with selling my other properties once I "fixed" them up I decided that flipping would be my focus. With the help of my husband we bought many homes and cabins, renovating them and then selling, making a decent return on each, including several homes in the Caribbean. With each flip I honed my eye for interior design and may have been one of the first "stagers" in the metro, believing that a staged home brings a higher return. While living in Northern MN for a few years I owned several rental properties/apts, and also began my interior design/consulting business. Over time I worked with builders on model homes, homeowners, and other flippers. One of my homes in the Caribbean was one of a few selected to be featured in an island home tour. I had a successful interior design business on the island, working with dozens of clients. Projects ranged from small renovations to entire home design from start of construction. I currently own and operate several VRBOs in St. Paul and several rental units, and also take on a periodic design or staging project. My interest is in expanding my VRBO business and flipping homes.
