New to realestate. Looking for a fourplex to owner occupy in East Texas. I have been an automotive technician for the last 32 years. I have committed to an exit strategy from that j o b to be buy and hold multi family rentals. My wife and I are considering the temporary pain of renting out our current home and house hacking a plex as our way in. So glad we found BP , there is a ton of real information here and we are looking forward to being part of the community. * Update : As of May 2025 We have done exactly what we planned and are now looking for another SFR to purchase and move into. Slight re-balancing of the multifamily only as in this area houses tend to appreciate more than multifamily.
