I've always been interested in real estate. I have a love for beautiful spaces and very much take pride in bringing places from ugly to beautiful. We moved 4-5 times, several of which were homes we purchased and have always enjoyed the search as well as the challenge to get as much of a return on the house we were selling at the time. My background is in finance and I am a CPA by trade but found that industry very difficult to break back into in a flexible way which is a necessity with 4 kids to care for. I always knew that real estate investing made sense but always thought of that type of investing as long term. Never realized that there were so many investment options and my husband and I are just scratching the surface to figure out where we'd like to go with all of this. We have been listening to all of BP's podcasts and love them. We feel lucky to have found this blog.
