Early-stage RE investor with just my first unit under my belt at this point. Have been inspired by the BiggerPockets forums/webinars/podcasts to take small but consistent steps in growing my portfolio (goal of 1 property per year). Living in an increasingly competitive market (13% increase in the last 12 months) and, although I'd like to buy and hold here locally, I've started looking for out of state opportunities with lower initial investments.
