Experience: I am new to real estate as an investment. I have purchased two houses in the past for my personal residence but that is the extent of my real estate experience. I am an Engineer by trade. I currently am an Engineering Project Manager, but wish to add some rental properties to my portfolio. Real Estate Goals: Currently, as a brand new investor, my goal is to become more educated; put together a plan and a process. Long-term buy, hold, & rent is my preference for property investments. Currently Seeking: I am seeking below market value rental properties in good working-class neighborhoods. I would like to stay local at least initially as I believe it would be easier to keep my eye on my investment. I also really like the spin on buy-and-hold property that is the BRRRR model. I need to figure out financing before executing.
