I have one rental property, and it was by accident. Probably the same story a lot of people have, bought my condo in 2007, wanted to buy a house in 2012 but I was completely upside down, so here I am renting it today. But I enjoy it, I seem to have the ability to screen tenants well (or I've just gotten lucky twice), and want to establish a retirement fund for my wife and I. Not interested in quitting my job (not yet anyway), just looking to pick up a few more properties to supplement my income.
