When my children were young, I used to say, "One day I'll be wealthy so that I can give my children the best life possible." I've tried everything under the sun to make that happen, but things never seemed to come together. I'd heard that real estate was a way to build wealth but had always thought that it was for people who already had money. It was one of those things that "I would if I could," but never seriously studied. Well, then "THE GREAT PANDEMIC OF 2020" happened, bringing with it an avalanche of family financial problems that could have been avoided if I'd known how to build true wealth for my family. I won't go into detail except to say that I've decided that I'll never be that broke again... and neither will my children and grandchildren. My burning desire is to begin building a legacy of generational wealth. And after taking a serious look at real estate investing, I've decided that it's exactly the thing I've been looking for all the time. I can't believe that the answer to my prayers had been right in front of my face all the time and I didn't see it because my thinking (mindset at the time) was blinding me to it. Now that I've decided to move forward with real estate investing, I've set a goal to acquire my first investment property before the end of the first quarter of 2023. ( I would've said before the end of 2022 but since today is Xmas eve, that might be a little TOO ambitious. I'm here to learn, grow, and develop into a successful real estate investor. I'm looking forward to the journey and the doors it's about to open in my life. REI is an answered prayer that's going to change my life.
