I have always been an entrepreneur and have built and run several business over the years. Some I was successful at making money with a hobby and others I learned from. My wife and I purchased a home or investment everywhere we have lived while I was in the navy over 10+ years. We currently have a single family and a triplex. I am always looking to ways to improve and build businesses. I love to look at a system and analyze the inefficiencies with it. After taking some guru courses years ago and it never really going anywhere even though i was an active member or a REIA I had to take an introspective look at why. My wife and I determined the lack of success in real estate at the time was directly attributed to the lack of deal flow. We are currently working to rectify that within our own business model and working with partners in order streamline the deal acquisition process. Because without purchasing a property right there is no deal. Experience: As of the time of writing this my RE experience is fairly limited. I have either purchased and/or sold 4 properties. I have used zero down on 3 of the 4. 1 being a zero down loan in 2006 that I am still upside down on 10 years later (but it does throw off a little cash). The other 2 i used my VA benefit of zero down being a navy veteran. I purchased a condo when stationed in Hawaii and sold it when I left. The other was using my VA to purchase a triplex which I moved into and still have to this day. I have taken a few guru courses, but have found much more benefit to networking on Bigger Pockets and attending some of my local Meetups. Real Estate Goals: I am currently building a deal funnel (I am cautious to use the words wholesaling business as often everyone trys to start wholesaling). My objective is to be a goto source for partnering on deals. I would like to provide value by reducing the upfront costs to flippers by taking a percentage of the back end of the deal rather than an up front finders/assignment fee. Currently Seeking: People looking for deals. I market to single family homes and am looking to build my list of potential partners as well as buyers.
