What's Happening 5-6-12

Got just a moment because I really need to get some cat food and cat litter for my feline masters...

As I was typing that it made think that is all they do...

Eat and use the litter box...

But if you are an animal lover like me, you know they do so much more. Can you put a price on the love that our pets have for us? Or the joy and happiness they brings us?

Yesterday I woke up with the oldest cat snuggled up next to me. After 14 years she still runs to greet me at the door when I come home. Follows me around in the morning until I give her some attention.

Like I often say, the most important things in life aren't things. Funny that in this case I am talking about 2 cats and how they bring happiness into my life. Even if it means having to clean a litter box. Or step in a freshly thrown up hair ball first thing in the morning as you stumble blindly towards the coffee maker...

Been busy this week and spent most of the day yesterday trying to get the yard cut. Which was a greater ordeal than normal since the riding lawnmower decided to break. Not sure what is wrong with it but it made an expensive sounding noise so I am dreading the verdict...

Anyway I was able to post another info packed article over at my website I wish you would check out. Today I wrote about bout the economy and unemployment, home prices and several sources say to buy now. But is it the right time for you to buy a home?

Wednesday, April 18

Rainy dreary hump day. Cooler too but we need the rain. We had a new deck installed in our back yard but it looks like we will be waiting a day or two before we get to enjoy it.

Looking forward to enjoying some cookouts and quality time with my wife on the deck just relaxing. We are going to need to buy some more outdoor furniture though. Much bigger deck than the old one!
