Playing in the snow without the hassle of shoveling and driving in it!

It's great to see snow on the mountains around Phoenix and not have to shovel or drive in it!!
We enjoy it while it's here...nice to look at from afar but not have to live and drive in it!
Yet if you want to play in the snow you can make a short drive to Payson and within 90 minutes you are in the pines and having a snowball fight! There is Snowbowl Ski Park in Flagstaff and Sunrise Ski Resort in the White Mountains within a 3.5 hour drive to ski and snowboard.
If you're not crazy about the snow, it's nice to know that living in the Phoenix area you don't have to deal with the headaches of it! We just go play in it and then drive home!
