What! Dolphins in The Chesapeake Bay?

I Couldn't Believe My Eyes! Dolphins!

Yesterday morning, around 8:00 am as I was checking my email and the secretary came in. She grabbed a cup of coffee and we began our the usual morning chat. She looked out at the water and said " Is that Dolphin's Out there? " Oh, I doubt it" as I'm sort of paying attention. I looked up and thinking maybe it was fish jumping or a school of scates. We proceeded to go out to the edge of the cliff, on The Chesapeake Bay, and to our shock there must have been over 20 dolphins just simply playing and swimming along. My camera batteries were dead as I tried to grab it. Sorry, no pictures! I woke the kids up and they were as amazed. Dolphins in Calvert County!. I have been in Southern Maryland - Calvert County for 18 years and this is a first sighting. I am so lucky to live a beautiful area where I am continually blessed by natures beauty and wildlife.

I have heard if Dolphins in Solomons Island Harbor a few years back and last year a few people spotted some in St. Leonard Creek. I googled Dolphins in The Chesapeake Bay and here is a clip from youtube that I found. Keep your eyes out, you never know whats lurking in our waterways.
