Never Give Up!!!

Saturday, February 06

My name is LeJon Ratchford and I am a new Real Estate investor working diligently to succeed in this business. So far my progress has been slow but it’s my fault and mine only. See I never took the necessary steps to move forward in this business. Allow me to explain briefly. I work 45 to 50hrs a week and I have 5 children and fiancee. That includes home work, dinners, video games and watching cartoons. Now let’s not forget my fiancee, she’s a sweet college student who has never given up on my dreams. She was there when I did not have a dime and living in my mom’s basement with my two kids (don’t feel bad for me). On top of all that I try to work out three times a week (TRY). Most people with my lifestyle would say," I can't work on a business, I don’t have the time". This is not true! Plan out a dream, go after it. I gave up on my dream many, many times but not this time.

Recently I had a property I was whole selling. The lady was kind and allowed me to whole sale her property which gave me a wealth of knowledge. Unfortunately it did not close; I had to back out of the contract. Ten of my buyers claimed they wanted the property but it never ended up closing. Now I could look at this experience as a negative one and cry my behind off and go back to my mom’s basement (That is a joke). Or I could take every negative experience that accured from this property and do my best not to make the same mistakes with the next one. I currently am assisting another gentleman with his property.

This gave me an idea; why not share with everyone my experiences. I want to give detailed descriptions of how my business operates. My goal is to reach out to my fellow beginners. Hopefully my experience will help you to not make the same mistakes I have made. I will consult some of my big leaguers for assistance at times with their permission and I will address their names in my blogs. In the future I will utilize pictures along with video to allow everyone to know who I am and how hard I work at my business. When I make mistakes you will see it. My belief is people feel more comfortable with those they can connect with. As I stated I also am a beginner, but that is no excuse for me not to succeed. By me working hard, asking questions, and learning from my mistakes I will be a successful entrepreneur. Best wishes to all and what ever you do, do something productive.
