Online Advertising Sales Account Executive - Added 4/23/09
As you know, BiggerPockets is a fast growing startup company that has been recognized by the national media, and we're now looking for team players to join us as Sales Account Executives to help build our media sales.
We are searching for highly motivated, competitive, energetic, goal oriented sales professionals who want to be compensated for their sales and have an opportunity to grow and move up within our organization.
The ideal sales candidate is an aggressive, intelligent go-getter who loves to close deals and focus on new account acquisition as well as one who can follow up and handle account maintenance. We are looking for team players and those who wish to be pushed to maximize their talents.
This position is 100% commission based. With available inventory to be sold increasing monthly as our website grows, income potential is significant for a self-starting and hungry sales pro.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently to identify and contact leads for generating new business
- Manage sales process from pitch to close with support from the company
- Work collaboratively with director to retain new and existing business and maximize profitability.
- Develop, analyze and optimize advertising campaigns for clients.
- Prepare and present RFPs to clients.
- Negotiate contracts with our advertising partners
- Meet monthly and quarterly management business objectives.
- Must be highly organized, with excellent MS Office and online web skills.
- 100% Outside sales.
Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. Degree preferred but not required, hopefully with a focus on Marketing, or Business Administration/Development
- Experience in online advertising essential, including an understanding and working knowledge of CPC, CPM, CPA and Hybrid sales models
- Computer literate & extremely Web Savvy, including a presence on key social networks such as LinkedIn, and a SKYPE account.
- A professional and polished demeanor with exceptional interpersonal, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Effective phone presence and professional, confidence-inspiring personality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with a "whatever it takes" attitude
Compensation Includes:
- Monthly commission
- Recurring residual income from clients
