Has anyone ever worked with EMC?

Hello everyone

Has anyone ever worked with EMC on a Short Sale?
I have a listing with an EMC mortgage. I’ve evicted the non-paying tenant. I have an offer that if accepted, will be the second highest in the area to sell this year.

EMC has been waiting almost a month and the only response is that they want more money. The trustee sale has been scheduled for July 7. I got a call from someone a few days ago on a Saturday who say's he is from the EMC Work Out Program and they need a $300 admin fee paid via western union in Texas. For the $300 we can get a postponement on the sales date. He sent me some paper work that looks legit.

He called again on Sunday to see if I have chosen to proceed, which makes me even more nervous. I have never met a bank employee that works on weekends.

Anyone have any help?

Keith
