I am seriuosly looking at a property they now hold as an REO. Any experience with them out there?
As is usually the case - their asking price is too high. Do they negotiate?

Nationstar is like most REO companies - not much negotiation in price over the first 90 days, then anything over the magic number '151' days, they tend to get very negotiable...
In my experience they are terrible. We agreed to a price and I signed the contract, returned to them for her boss to sign. They then yanked the deal because they had a higher bid. I considered legal action but my attorney indicated that it wasn't worth the fight. I'll never deal with them again.
Thanks Kristian and Brian
Not the news I wanted to hear, but what I was expecting.
I think I will treat it like wine and 'let it age'.
My goodness. You would think the banks or their rep's would be happy to get an offer. If it is low, so be it...say thanks, but no thanks. I would think some folks out there that have the dollars will buy at a decent price. But those looking now are not fools. We have seen what the past has done. Sigh. Thanks for letting me vent.
