Quit Claim Deeds
Does anyone know if it is legal for someone who has no actual ownership of a property to sign over a quit claim deed to that property to someone else, if no money changes hands? A quit claim simply means I release my ownership rights to you, IF I HAVE ANY, so common sense tells me that it would be legal, but common sense and the law do not always coincide. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.....
