New from Denver, CO

I am new to RE investing although I have been participating in a local REIA group for the past year, and filling my mind with as many books/seminars as possible.

I have joined this site in order to get over the hump, turning my knowledge into action, and of course learning even more through the process. I would also like to start building a team of people whom I can work with and learn from. My background has nothing to do with RE, so I'll need some hand holding, haha. I'd love to work with people that are willing to walk through a deal with me.

My goals for RE go hand-in-hand with my goals for my life. I would like to build businesses that could essentially run themselves, that provide for me and my family and others. (Currently I'm an employee and own 0 businesses and assets, so I have a long way up =D). Ultimately I'd love to teach others everything that I have learned to empower others to be successful.

Welcome Randy! I know that with the input and resources here at BP, you will be a success! What exactly are you looking to do with REI? Fix/flip, rentals,wholesaling or ?

Also, what areas of Denver?

I was in Denver, last summer, stayed in the hills around Buffalo Bill's tomb. Great area. No cell reception.;-)

Thanks for the intro guys.

Anson- I imagine initially I will buy and hold, then with time move into rehabs. No specific areas I have in mind. Probably will target the Aurora area to start since I most familiar with it.

Josh- That would be great, I am excited to meet others in the same area.

Sounds good, I live in Aurora myself, work Downtown. If I find a good deal in Aurora I will keep you in mind!
