Removing Wallpaper

I did a search and found no threads on this subject. I am putting an offer together on a property that has wall paper. I saw them take it off with vinager and water on TV the other day. Any one here have any comments or advise on removing wall paper?

I've used fabric softener in a spray bottle and let it soak in. Then peel paper. May come off in two coats. Top coat and then spray and soak under neath level and peel. Rich
