When to tile

After I gut and paint, but before I bring the new kitchen cabinets in? Right? Seems the logical easy way to do it, or is there a reason to tile after the cabines are in?

A good trick for dishwashers is to set it up on a 3/4" piece of plywood so it is level with the tile. I placed the extra plywood under all of the cabinets for consitancy. I got some laughs from the cabinet guys, but a sheet of plywood is cheaper than a case of tile!
