Orange County, California?

Question

Anybody from Orange County or the surrounding areas out there? Looking for like minded people to network with. Especially wholesalers! Has anyone had good experiences with local REI groups? Look forward to hearing from you!

I am in the LA area. I hit Phyllis Rockower's meetings occasionally. I can't think of the name of the group. If you Google "Real Estate Investment Club Los Angeles" it's number one in the organic search results. I've seen it listed on biggerpockets, too. It's a huge group. 200+ at the meetings I've been to.. It's at the Radisson in Culver City. I thought that was the biggest in this Area. I've seen Bruce Norris speak there a long time ago, and loved it. I will check out Paul's, too, at the Sheraton. I get down to OC pretty often. I will have to check out that big meeting as well.  I actually might be into smaller club with more of a mastermind group feel, too.

The best club in OC is the OC REI Forum in Irvine.  If you want the biggest one I suggest the big one in LA - the REIC of LA meeting at the Sheraton.

Okay, so the Naked Real Estate event was great! Lot's of vendors to talk to, people to network with and an open forum for questions with Bruce Norris of The Norris Group, Tony Alvarez and Mike Cantu (sorry I forgot the 4th genlemens name).

They were all great and very inciteful. No holding back either on answering the questions. So many tidbits I had a hard time recalling it all.

The beggining of the event starts with check in and network. At that time there are vendors set up that you can talk to and/or network with other investors. This lasts about an hour. After that you take your seats and the questions for the panel begin.

No upsells, no hard closes to buy some guru's program, just raw honest info from seasoned investors about what they are doing, where they were doing it and how (in some detail, they can't give away the farm).

If the next one is anything like this first meeting I would recommend going to the next one if you can. I believe it's every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
