Anybody from Orange County or the surrounding areas out there? Looking for like minded people to network with. Especially wholesalers! Has anyone had good experiences with local REI groups? Look forward to hearing from you!

I'm in Long Beach, not too far away.

I still haven't bought my first property but hopefully soon. I'd love to get together and talk (though I won't bring much experience to the table)

New club which starts June 11 in Anaheim for anyone interested. I know the owner and will be a regular speaker at her club. She just held an all day conference in Anaheim which I attended as well. It was lots of fun.

Have you ever been to any of The Norris Group's events? I don't think they have regular REI meetings but from what I've read about them and what I've observed about what they offer I'm very interested. They are very focused on So Cal and educating investors. Plus I think they are relatively close to you (Riverside).

The new club is called " The Naked Real Estate Investors Club" and the first meeting will be this Wednesday June 11. Networking starts at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7:30.

Bruce Norris along with Mike Cantu and Tony Alvaraez will be panel speakers taking Q&A from the attendees. It should be a powerful evening of education.

Just to be clear, you are not to come " naked" to the event (ha ha).
The name comes from the owner (an investor herself) who was tired of the guru hype and wanted the " Bare Truth About RE Investing" , hence the name.

I'm bummed I missed the 6/11 meeting. I'll keep an eye out for the next meeting.

When is the next Norris Group meeting? I would like to attend this meeting. I am a newbie and want to learn everything I can.

I am in the LA area. I hit Phyllis Rockower's meetings occasionally. I can't think of the name of the group. If you Google "Real Estate Investment Club Los Angeles" it's number one in the organic search results. I've seen it listed on biggerpockets, too. It's a huge group. 200+ at the meetings I've been to.. It's at the Radisson in Culver City. I thought that was the biggest in this Area. I've seen Bruce Norris speak there a long time ago, and loved it. I will check out Paul's, too, at the Sheraton. I get down to OC pretty often. I will have to check out that big meeting as well. I actually might be into smaller club with more of a mastermind group feel, too.
