Mailing system vs Website

This topic comes from just wanting to know what is working best for active investors, not so much the full time investor. A lot of people would go with mailing to circumstantial sellers. When you mail out, are you mailing 400 or more pieces per month? It would be easy to send out 100 pieces per week to test the market.

If you have a job, how are you handling calls that you might generate from your letters? Majority would send their messages to a voicemail system while few might want to take all of the call themselves.

Why take the call immediately versus sending the call to voicemail?

Mailing is fairly simple when compared to internet marketing. If you want to have a website that will generate the amount of traffic as sending mail pieces then you have to work hard. My experience has been off line marketing attracts the best online leads. Online marketing is just as good, but can cost more money intially due to fine tuning. Pay per click seems to bring in traffic within a few hours.

Mailings have worked well for me and so has internet marketing, but i want others to give us their synopsis of whats working best for 2008.

Again my question is what marketing are you committed too and are the results good?
