Once I went into bankruptcy to retain our house, I was amazed to find that the one thing I could not liquidate was my timeshare: a luxury item which should be the first thing to go. It's almost as if we're expected to sell the house first. I am having the hardest time selling the timeshare and the company I have it through will not let me out of the contract. It costs thousands of dollars every year. How do I get this deed off my back?
