Well I am a mother of 4 currently working as a dental hygienist. My husband and I lost a rental to shortsale this year. It has been 8 long months since the beginning of that fiasco. I know real estate will bring me financial freedom so I refuse to give up even though I lost out on my first investment property!

Amy, I don't think we are in a downturn. Don't give up. I'm a year into it and have only two sales under my belt and a little over $13,000 in my pocket from them. My next sale is scheduled for next month. If it goes through, my partner and I should split around $20,000. The key is to constantly market. Maryann
