MACHINE REPAIRMAN THATS COMMUTING 165 MILES A DAY SINCE 1990 AND AND LOOKING FOR A CHANGE IN MY LIFE. I OWN 7 SFH's AND IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING ANOTHER. MY GOAL IS TO HAVE ENOUGH PROPERTIES BY AGE 50 TO RETIRE VERY COMFORTABLY. I'M THE GRUNT OF OUR OPERATION AND MY WIFE IS THE BRAINS. SHE HAS A B.A. IN ACCOUNTING. TOGETHER WE ARE MOVING VERY FAST AND PLAN TO ADD A COUPLE PROPERTIES EVERY YEAR FOR THE NEXT DECADE.

Experience

I have been a landlord since 2007 and absolutely love it so far. I am a Machine Repairman at a Steel plant in the city since 1990. Like the work but hate somebody else controlling my future. I have been past over for promotions and had my pay cut several times and TIRED. So real estate is my SAVIOR! and so far I believe its working. I have know college education but am very intuitive and learn fast. My wife has a BA in Accounting so she takes care of the books. Together we make a great team. I am the Brawn and she is the Brains. Theres not to many things I can't do or haven't done when it comes to home repair so for now I do just about all maintenance on or properties. As I age I plan to have a handyman or two.

Real Estate Goals

I hope to be retired by age 45. I don't think I will quite working but at least not commuting 160 miles a day to a dead end job. I want to be doing REI full time. I would like to grow my business from there enough that my kids could come on board if they chose.....That said I need to acquire 3 SFH's a year.
