I've been doing the design and construction for comercial investment properties for 20 years, now I want to do it for myself. Time to learn the other side of realestate investing.
My experience is in property due diligence. Finding a property and then making sure it meets all aspects of the proposed use such as; zoning, building codes, traffic volume, land use and adaptability. I've worked in the architecture, construction and civil engineering fields for the past 25 years. I know about easements and utilities, Leasing and buying, what I don't know is how and where to find capital to develop new projects.
I have a knack for looking at a site and saying "you know what would go good there...?" and the next thing I know, someone has built exactly what I had thought of.
To eventually become a developer of mixed use, retail, and commercial properties.
