I have just begun as a real estate investor in Southern California after being in the heavy industrial and commercial construction business. I have had the 'bug' to get into investing for about 3 years and made the decision to make the change. I am excited about the new career path.
This is my first forray into real estate. I do have 15 years construction managment experience. I also have a smart level headed fiance workng with me to keep me straigh and I pray to Jesus alot for guidance.
My short term goal is to buy and sell 12 REOs then move to a mixture of rehab and hold and rehab and flip. Ultimatley by 65 years old (just a number) I want to own 40 rental properties.
Currently concentrating on SFR, 2-4 bedrooms, 1-3 baths and a minumum of 1100 sq ft in the Southern California/Inland Empire area. My price range is, on average, about $175K-$375K.
