I have over 30 years experience in the accounting and financial services industry. Early in my public accounting career I gravitated toward tax work assuming the position of tax manager, and a few years later, tax partner of Kiplinger & Co., CPAs.
Recognizing a need within our client base for objective financial advice, I completed several rigorous personal financial planning courses, and in 1989 challenged and passed the Certified Financial Planner® exam.
