I am still learning the business of real estate investing. I have purchased and do own property currently, getting lessons of experience everyday.

For the past 7 years, I have owned a real estate appraisal company. Therefore, valuation was and is still my specialty. I say was because I am letting the business go. There was too much loss of control that I don't like and frankly, am not going to do any longer. Risk reward level just too low.

I ran a real estate investment magazine in the Chicago metro area for 3 years working with many of the brightest real estate minds in the region. This endeavor has been moved online as print cost and disposable advertising income dried up. Online offers a greater reach and less cost to maintain.

My purpose with joining the Bigger Pocket community is to continue learning and growing as a real estate investor. I k now a lot of information, but application is where my focus lies at this point.
