I'm unlike many before and many to come. Instead of talking about what I'm going to do, Im doing it first, then talking about it!
When I first started in the industry back in May, I like many other beginners, was lured in by the idea of fast cash. Now that time has passed, I have come to realize that it takes a lot of hard work and consistent dedication to the business.
Currently my main focus is on wholesaling. I began with the idea that I wanted to do all sorts of strategies, but I have come to realize that I am not in this to become a landlord/rehabber. Instead I am using my focus to find deals for the guys out there on the front line.
It takes a lot to be a landlord, but the dividends it pays appear to be amazing! However, it is just not what I am striving for.
Began in Early May and have had quite a bit of a learning experience along the way. Although nothing solid has happened yet, it is only a matter of time. At the start, I was all over the place and couldn't decide what area to focus on and instead just tried to do everything.
Now I have refined my approach and focus to absentee owners from the code violation lists. With a more precise focus, it has proved to be effective and has allowed me to understand the importance of narrowing your market.
At first I was super hyped and convinced that I needed to make as many deals happen as possible. But, now that time has passed and I have learned a thing or two, I realize that it is more important for me to concentrate on one deal at a time. So right now my focus is on getting one deal and perfecting my strategy each time there after.
