My wife and I have just recently purchased our first home.
My Grandfather built his retirement portfolio in realestate and my brother-in-law is currently doing the same.
Having observed over the years the rewards that realestate investing can bring we have decided to commit ourselves to learning all that we can from those who have already achieved success beleiving that by surrounding ourselves with brilliant people we will become brighter ourselves. More than this, however, we intend to apply what we learn into a well planned and successful realestate investing career.
We would like to thank in advance all of those persons whose generosity and wisdom will help propell us along that path.
Sincerely,
James A. Young
and Family
My Grandfather retired on his realestate holdings (quite well I might add). He owned several rental properties from homes to 4-plex and 2-plex's as well as retail properties. I learned from him what a strategy of buy and hold can accomplish as well as the bennefits of a constant stream of rental income...and the headaches that come with tenants.
My brother in law also now invests in rental properties and is expanding his portfolio every year.
While I am just begining my investing business I am still sharpening my focus as to the niche I wish to pursue in REI. I appreciate the bennefits of buy and hold but would also like to turn profits more quickly through wholesaling.
I am currently seeking any REI persons in the Phoenix area willing to share their wisdom of the current market i.e. where it is now and where it is likely to go in the next 3 to 5 years. I am a sponge ready to accept any GOOD advice that I can get. I am not one who chases after GURU's but will gratefully welcome the advice and instruction of a colleague.
