I was born and raised in Cork, Ireland. After graduating from University of Limerick with a degree in Electronic Engineering, I worked for Fortune 500 Telecom companies in nearly 30 different countries.

In 2005, I was working about 90 hrs a week and flying to a different city every week which was interfering with my marrage. I wanted a career that would give me more flexibility. I quit my consulting position to invest in real estate full time.

In 2006 my wife and I started a company and within six months we were acquiring 15 properties a month thanks to systems that we implemented. In December 2006, we sold our company for a substantial profit. Since 2005 we have bought and sold over 120 single family homes, town homes, multi-units and land across California, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Louisiana and Indiana.
