I'm currently a real estate investor full time. I've been in the game for about 5 yrs. I've experience the great times in the market, bad, and now the ugly. But the ugly is really good if you can find your niche. I've started out as a wholesaler, then to short sales. Then I realize in Atlanta minus the headache of doing short sales I could buy REO's to fix up and sale. Now the competition are banks selling these REO's dirt cheap and it makes it hard for rehabbers in certain areas of the city to make serious profit.
